About Your Unique Therapy
Hi, I’m Claire, a psychotherapeutic counsellor, training in psychotherapy with a orientation toward Transactional Analysis. Your Unique Therapy, is rooted in the belief that healing begins with authenticity, autonomy, and connection.
A little about me
What you should know about me is that I’m deeply passionate about helping people reconnect with their true selves. I bring transparency, respect, and trust into every relationship — whether in the therapy room or out in the world. These values aren’t just principles; they’re the foundation of how I show up.
I’m a realist who values connection and understanding. I believe in meeting people where they are, and I often use my sense of humour to create a sense of “okay-ness” — a space where being human feels safe, relatable, and even a little lighter.
I’m highly intuitive, which allows me to connect with people on a deep emotional level. This intuition helps me build relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and genuine presence. Therapy with me isn’t about perfection — it’s about realness, reflection, and the courage to explore who you truly are.
Outside the therapy room, I find grounding in nature — especially long walks on the beach, where the rhythm of the waves offers space to breathe and reflect. Nature nurtures me, and I carry that sense of calm into my work.
I’m someone who values laughter, love, and comfort — the small, meaningful things that make life feel rich and real. Music is one of my greatest joys. I believe it’s a universal language — a way we can understand and connect with each other across cultures, emotions, and experiences.
These personal passions shape how I show up in therapy: with presence, warmth, and a deep belief in our shared humanity.
